Decision VCII/3: Amendment procedure under the Vienna Convention

The Conference of the Parties, in Decision VCII/3 of its Second Meeting, decided:

  1. to request the Parties to the Montreal Protocol to request the Ad Hoc Working Group on Non-Compliance with the Montreal Protocol to consider procedures for expediting the amendment procedure under Article 9 of the Vienna Convention;
  2. to request the Secretariat to prepare a note outlining the problem.
