General Information:

The Sixteenth Meeting of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol (MOP) and its associated meetings will be held at the Hotel Hilton Prague, Pobrezni 1, 186 00 Prague 8, Czech Republic, Tel: (+ 420 224) 841 111, Fax: (+ 420 224) 842 378, from 17 to 26 November 2004.

Registration:

The registration area will be at the foyer of the Congress Hall and registration will begin from 17 November 2004 at 08.00 hours. To expedite registration, delegates are kindly requested to pre-register using forms attached to the invitation letter, or click here to download a word version of the form. Please present your passport or identification card on collection of your meeting badge.

Meetings

Before the official commencement of the MOP, the following meetings will take place:

1) Thirty-third Meeting of the Implementation Committee under the Non-Compliance Procedure of the Montreal Protocol, 17-19 November 2004

In session from 10.00 to 13.00 and 15.00 to 18.00 hours in the Barcelona Room. By invitation only.

2) Ad Hoc Working Group on Methyl Bromide Technical Options Committee 19-20 November 2004

In session from 10.00 to 13.00 and 15.00 to 18.00 hours in the Hercovka + Tyrolka Rooms. By invitation only.

3) Third Meeting of the Bureau of the 15th Meeting of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol, 21 November 2004

In session from 15.00 hours in the Rokoska Room. By invitation only.

Transportation:

All major motorways are easily accessible to Hotel Hilton Prague and the Prague Ruzyne airport is 20 minutes away by taxi. The public transport stations are situated 5 minutes' walk away. Underground parking space is available in the Hotel Hilton.

Visas:

Please apply for your entry visas from the Czech Republic Embassy or Consulate nearest to you. Our letter of invitation should be included in your submission of request for visas. Please note that it is not possible for the Czech authorities to grant entry visas upon arrival.
