Maud Barcelo Martinez joined the Ozone Secretariat in March 2020.
Maud has experience in international environmental law and chemicals and health related issues. She previously worked as a Legal Associate at the Minamata Convention on Mercury Secretariat in Geneva, following her internship which started in July 2018 with this multilateral environmental agreement.
She holds a Masters degree in environmental law from the Sorbonne University, France, and a dual Bachelor’s degree in French and Spanish law, focused on international and comparative law, from the Sorbonne University and the Complutense University, Spain. She also holds a degree in Geopolitics and Prospective from the French Institute for International and Strategic Affairs
