I, Thamir Al Shehri, nominated by Saudi Arabia and residing in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a Member of the TEAP Decision XXXI/7 Task Force on Energy Efficiency (hereinafter referred to as the Energy Efficiency Task Force or EETF) declare as follows:

1. I have read the Conflict of Interest and Disclosure Guidelines for the Technology and Economic Assessment Panel, its Technical Options Committees and Temporary Subsidiary Bodies (“the COI Guidelines”) as adopted by the Meeting of the Parties in Decision XXIV/8.
2. I am a Research Associate at King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC). My responsibilities include leading or participate in research projects that generate knowledge products related to energy transition, energy efficiency and climate. Interested in using technologies to facilitate better energy public policies and energy economical systems.
3. This declaration constitutes my written agreement, pursuant to paragraph 8 of the COI Guidelines, to comply with the Guidelines. I understand that this written agreement is a condition of my service.
