GENERAL INFORMATION:
The Twenty-fifth Open-Ended Working Group (OEWG), the Second Extraordinary Meeting and associated meetings of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol will be held at the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), located at 999 University Street (corner Viger Street), Montreal, from 26 June to 2 July 2005.
REGISTRATION:

The information supplied in the registration form will be included in the list of participants. Pre-registration should be made by 17 June 2005.
On-site registration and distribution of meeting badges for pre-registered delegates for the meetings will begin on Sunday, 26 June 2005 from 09:00hrs and will take place in the Atrium of the ICAO Conference Centre. Thereafter, registration starts at 08:00 everyday from Monday, 27 June to 1 July 2005.
ENTRANCE TO THE ICAO CONFERENCE CENTRE:
Due to security precautions, only one entrance to the ICAO Conference Centre will be open for participants. Please use the entrance located on the lower side of ICAO building along University Avenue.
MEETINGS:

Thirty-fourth Meeting of the Implementation Committee under the Non-compliance Procedure of the Montreal Protocol, Saturday, 2 July 2005, three sessions: morning, afternoon and evening. The first session commences at 10:00 hrs. Conference Room 6. By invitation only.

Hotel YWCA (10 minute-walk to ICAO building)
All prices are exclusive of taxes, (GST 7% + QST 7.5%) and are in Canadian
dollars. Tax refund is possible for non-Canadian citizens. The form GST 176
E (92/06) has to be completed and mailed back to Revenue Canada in Ottawa within
one year of departure and for a minimum total claim of CAN $7. The form may
be obtained at the hotel reception counter.
TRANSPORTATION:
Pierre Elliot Trudeau International Airport (former Dorval Airport) is located on the island of Montreal, about 30 minutes from downtown Montreal. Mirabel Airport is located about 1 hour and 15 minutes from downtown. Different services of bus and shuttle operate between Montreal - Pierre Elliot Trudeau International Airport (former Dorval Airport) and downtown, at intervals of 30 minutes, from 5a.m. to 11 p.m. at the cost of CAN$12 for a one way trip; and CAN$20 for round trip. The estimated travel time is 45 minutes. Tickets can be purchased at the Central Station (across the road from ICAO building). A one way taxi ride between Montréal Pierre Elliot Trudeau International Airport (former Dorval Airport) and the downtown area costs about CAN $31.
VISAS:
Please apply for your entry visas from the Canadian Embassy or Consulate nearest to you. Our letter of invitation should be included in your request for entry visa. It is not possible for the Canadian authorities to grant visas upon arrival.
Please observe other international travel requirements to facilitate your travel.
MEDICAL INSURANCE:
Participants travelling to Canada are strongly advised to obtain medical insurance before leaving their home country. The cost of medical services is fairly high in Canada. Insurance should cover medical and hospital treatment as well as repatriation expenses and life insurance. The Ozone Secretariat/UNEP will not assume responsibility for these services.
