Ammonia Refrigeration plant using energy-saving equipment

The refrigerant used in the refrigeration system is R-717(ammonia).
Compressor automation, automatic air purging system, ammonia purification system, hot gas defrost system, ammonia leak detection systems are installed in a plant to help improve plant energy performance. The test study showed 25% saving on the use of electricity, and increased plant capacity by 30%, and improved plant safety to meet Process Safety Management requirements. The temperature required for ice cream freezing (-16-25°C) is also achieved.
The system has been successfully used in ice-cream making plants.
