Ratification declaration notes

Bahrain

a.) Upon accession, the Government of Bahrain declared that the accession shall in no way constitute recognition of Israel or be a cause for the establishment of any relations of any kind therewith. A similar declaration was made in respect of the Montreal Protocol and the London Amendment.

b.) On 8 July 2021 the Secretary-General of the United Nations, acting in his capacity as depositary, communicated a notification by the Government of Bahrain about its withdrawal of the declaration made upon accession to the Vienna Convention, Montreal Protocol and the London Amendment to the Montreal Protocol which had stated that the acceptance by the State of Bahrain of the said Convention, Protocol and Amendments shall in no way constitute recognition of Israel or be a cause for the establishment of any relations of any kind therewith.
