Nay Lin Aung joined the Ozone Secretariat in 2019. He brings to this position 9 years of experience in designing and managing various computer information systems at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP). He served as Information Systems Officer at UNESCAP and Web Manager at UNESCO. Over the years, he has experience in planning, designing, developing, implementing and maintaining various computer information systems; implementing IT solutions to optimize business processes; web, mobile app and gamification development; and leading and managing the provision of the IT infrastructure during conferences.

He has a Ph.D. in Information Technology focusing in AI and Machine Learning and Master of Information Science from Assumption University. He has his Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics (Robotics & Automation) from Yangon Technological University.
