UNEP/OzL.Pro.26/9 - Summary of the information submitted by parties on their implementation of paragraph 9 of decision XIX/6 to promote a transition from ozone-depleting substances that minimizes environmental impact (decision XXV/5, paragraph 3)

In paragraph 9 of its decision XIX/6, the Meeting of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol encouraged parties to promote the selection of alternatives to hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) that minimize environmental impacts, in particular impacts on climate, as well as meeting other health, safety and economic considerations.
