Title: How putting a price on carbon can strengthen ODS action

Abstract: We can all agree on the importance of appropriate ODS management. While the Montreal Protocol has been unprecedently successful in banning harmful refrigerant gases, pre-existing material around the world remains in need of a disposal solution. This event will address work being done to undertake the challenge of finding, collecting and destroying ODS gases, and highlight how carbon markets can enable this important and necessary work. Guest speakers will share insights from research to practice, showcasing the opportunities that can come from a business perspective to complement existing ODS efforts.
