Meetings and Dates:

The forty-fourth meeting of the Open-ended Working Group of the parties to the Montreal Protocol (OEWG44), the Fifth Extraordinary Meeting of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol (ExMOP5) and the sixty-eighth meeting of the Implementation Committee (ImpCom68) will be convened in-person in Bangkok, Thailand as follows: 

  • ImpCom68 – 9 July 2022
  • OEWG44 – 11 to 16 July 2022
  • ExMOP5 - 16 July 2022 after the closing of OEWG44

KUDO test sessions for designated online participants will be held on 7 July. Please join to test your connection, audio and video at a time convenient for you using the link/meeting ID given below. The user guide for KUDO is attached and is also available here.

The Secretariat will be sending out the communication to designated online meeting participants on 5th July

  • The test sessions will be run in English only;
  • Apple Safari browser is not supported;
  • Google Chrome is recommended, Mozilla Firefox and Edge is supported (update to latest version);
  • Participants can join any test session but if there are too many people, then you may need to queue.

Invitation and Pre-registration:

The invitation letters and pre-registration information were sent out on 14 April 2022.

Delegations are requested to nominate representatives to the meetings as soon as possible and no later than Monday, 20 May 2022.

If any delegation is prevented from travelling due to COVID-19 measures in their country, please contact the Secretariat at mea-ozoneinfo@un.org.
