The United Nations has a zero-tolerance policy for any form of harassment, including sexual misconduct, sexual harassment and sexual exploitation and abuse, and will deal with such complaints promptly. !!! REMINDER: Bring your own water bottles and lanyards. No lanyards will be issued with badges for OEWG48.

Meetings and Dates:

The forty-eighth meeting of the Open-ended Working Group of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol (OEWG48), the Sixth Extraordinary Meeting of the Parties to the Montreal Protocol (ExMOP6), and the seventy-sixth meeting of the Implementation Committee under the Non-Compliance Procedure for the Montreal Protocol (ImpCom76) will be held in Bangkok, Thailand as follows:

Side events and exhibitions:

Ozone stakeholders interested in hosting a side event and/or wishing to apply for an exhibition booth should submit their requests via the online submission form. Closing date for submissions is Friday, 5 June 2026.

The full list of side events scheduled during OEWG48 can be found under 'Side events' tab at the top of the page and on the OEWG48 app. The daily listing of side events will also be posted throughout the venue during the meeting. 

Please note, the Secretariat reserves the right to alter bookings, or potentially cancel side events, in consultation with the organisers, to accommodate contact groups and regional groups, if necessary.

 

Greening our meetings:

As part of our Environmental Management System, the Secretariat is committed to making its meetings as green and sustainable as possible. Participants can support this, among others, by:

  • Bringing and utilising reusable water bottles during the meeting
  • Bringing and reusing lanyards
